Idea 1: el personaje secundario. Relatar la vida del personaje secundario de un cuento durante el tiempo que dura la acción principal. El personaje secundario está mucho tiempo leyendo, tomando café, no haciendo nada del otro mundo. En algún momento se cruza con el personaje principal y tiene su parte en la acción, luego vuelve a su rutina poco interesante. De pronto el cuento llega a su fin, pero sin que nada espectacular le pase a nuestro personaje; este deja de existir sin pena ni gloria.
En el final, el personaje secundario pondera el hecho que el personaje principal ha debido de vivir en ese momento un hecho extraordinario, que puso fin al cuento.
Idea 2: tratar el misterio de la libertad, y ponerlo al mismo nivel que el misterio de la vida, la muerte y el amor. ¿Por qué somos capaces de elegir? La belleza inmensurable que yace aquí.
Idea 3: En qué caso escribir puede ayudar a responder al problema de la soledad. Como un diario de vida. Un escritor se sumerge en la escritura de su libro y decide no salir, el libro es toda la compañía que necesita.
